Health Research Analysis

An accurate picture of current research investment is important for planning research funding. The UKCRC has carried out analyses of the health research portfolios of government and charity organisations funding health related research in the UK, using a bespoke Health Research Classification System.

• UK Health Research Analysis
  This first national analysis of health research in the UK is an overview of the research activities of the eleven largest government and charity research funders, across all areas of health and disease.
• Charity Analysis
  This analysis broadened the national picture of research funding provided by the first analysis by examining the research activities of medium and smaller sized members of the Association of Medical Research Charities.
