Information and Resources on Research Passport
The Research Passport is a streamlined system for issuing honorary research contracts to researchers who do not have a contractual relationship with the NHS. Development of the Research Passport was undertaken by the NHS R&D Forum with guidance and assistance from:
- Universities and Colleges Employers Association (UCEA)
- Universities UK (UUK)
- The UK Health Departments
- NHS Employers
- Universities Personnel Association (UPA)

The Research Passport Introduction Event, October 2007
This UKCRC-organised event gave attendees the opportunity to learn how to implement this new system within their organisations, and also marked the start of the UK-wide roll-out of the system.
