Model agreement for non-commercial research in the NHS 
invitation to submit final comments by 3 October 2006

The UKCRC has been working with a range of stakeholders, and in particular the Council of Heads of Medical Schools (CHMS), the Department of Health, the Medical Research Council (MRC) and the NHS R&D Forum, over the course of the last year to develop a model agreement for non-commercial research in the NHS.
 
We have now reached a point where we believe that the drafting of the clauses reflects the consensus view and that we have an almost final version of the document.  Consequently, we are now seeking any last comments on the draft agreement. 
 
The draft agreement, further information about its development and the rationale for the drafting of some of the clauses are contained in this PDF document.
 
All comments on the model agreement should be emailed to Sue Bourne (sue.bourne@ukcrc.org) by Tuesday 3 October 2006.
