The UKCRC Partners are working together to promote patient and public involvement in research and to raise public awareness of clinical research.
Patient and Public Involvement in Clinical Research
The UKCRC is promoting active patient and public involvement (PPI) in clinical research. Work has included creating People In Research, a web resource for patients and the public, and recruiting patient/public members to join UKCRC advisory groups.
Public Awareness of Clinical Research
The UKCRC is working to raise public awareness of the value of clinical research by developing information resources on clinical trials for patients and the public, and educational materials to support the National Curriculum for Science.
