Patients and Public

Including the perspectives and experiences of patients and the public is an essential part of shaping the future environment and culture of clinical research in the UK.

The UKCRC is taking a dual approach to working with patients and the public:

If you are a patient or a member of the public and you want to get involved there are a growing number of research organisations that are looking for people to get involved in their work, including the UKCRC.

There are contact details if you want more information about some of these organisations.

If you want to contact the UKCRC for any more information there are two Programme Managers who facilitate this work:

Matthew Hallsworth - Public Awareness
Philippa Yeeles – Patient & Public Involvement
