This exhibition aims to display one of the three pillars on which the Strategy for Life Sciences is based: Building a UK life sciences ecosytem. Announced by the Prime Minister in December 2011, this aspect of the Governments's strategy will make it easier for researchers to commercialise academic research, will place clinical research at the heart of the NHS, and will empower patients in research. Visitors to the BIS foyer will witness how research, industry, patients and clinicians all contribute to improved patient health and to the UK's economy and growth.
