UKCRC Registered CTUs Website

The UKCRC Registered Clinical Trials Units (CTUs) website was launched in October 2008 and holds information on all UKCRC Registered CTUs. It allows potential collaborators, both in academia and industry, to obtain up to date information on CTUs that can help design and run high quality trials.

The site is targeted at clinical researchers and investigators, clinical research networks and funders of research, including industry, within and outside the UK. It is intended to foster links between the UKCRC Registered CTUs and the following groups:

  • Academic and NHS researchers
  • Funders of clinical research
  • Bioscience, healthcare and pharmaceutical industries

The website presents up to date details of all of UKCRC Registered CTUs including how to contact them, their research areas and their availability for collaboration. Users can search for individual CTUs or by the following criteria:

  • Geographical region
  • Disease research areas
  • Methodological research areas
  • Specific types of clinical research study
  • Experience of working with clinical research funders
