As an outcome of this report the Department of Health’s Director
General of R&D and the NHS CfH Director of IT Services, the
UKCRC Advisory Group’s sponsors, will be developing a programme of
work to begin to address the recommendations. This programme of
work will be taken forward in tandem with measures to strengthen
information governance of health information for uses other than
direct patient care.
